The special climate, the charming landscape, castles and palaces invite you to a carefree holiday in the heart of South Tyrol. Located in the heart of the Adige Valley, Terlano is an ideal starting point for numerous excursions. So you can explore the charm of our old towns with all their offers on culture and museums, but also a nice shopping on the colorful markets or a wonderful panoramic hike on the nearby plateau (cable car to Mölten is 5 minutes by car) leave nothing to be desired , The train to Bolzano / Merano leaves every half an hour and the bus connection is every hour (bus stop in 200mt - train connections) The blossoms in spring enchants the whole valley in a fabulous world. Let yourself be invited to beautiful flower walks through the endless orchards and asparagus fields of the valley and taste the many asparagus specialties from the Terlano asparagus "Margarete" and the delicious asparagus wine. The summer has its entry into the valley early and delights all nature lovers and sun lovers. Enjoy a bathing day at the nearby Montigglersee or Kalterersee (20 minutes by car). For the sports enthusiasts, Terlan offers tennis courts and a large outdoor swimming pool which is only 200 meters away from us. Two Entritte per week are free for our guests. The high ropes course is an adventure of a special kind for the whole family (900mt away). In the immediate vicinity are also 2 children's playgrounds. Due to the endless orchards and vineyards cycling gets a very special feeling. Explore the many cycling and hiking trails.
In autumn, the apple harvest and the harvest are the reward for much effort and work. With care, the apples are brought in and the wine is delivered to the winery for a roll-up. For the traditional Törggelen the Nuie (New Wine) with typical South Tyrolean dishes and chestnuts in the Buschenschanken be tasted.
Even the winter has its charm. Christkindl markets in the old towns ring in the advent season before Christmas. Great to reach by public transport. For winter sports enthusiasts, the nearby ski resorts (Schwemmalm in Ultental, Reinswald in Sarntal, Meran 2000 and Obereggen), which can be reached in about 30 minutes.
